Since
there are too many brilliant middle-size saloons in today, it is too
easy
to forget the Renault Laguna. In fact, Laguna is a good car and
deserves
more attention. Not only being the best-looking hatchback sedan, it
performs
good in handling, comforts and especially riding. The only short is the
engines, for which the 115hp sohc 2 litres is too old and the
Volvo-developed
16 valves 140hp is too peaky, noisy and thirsty.
I prefer the 115hp version because it is cheaper and more economical, which suits the character of Laguna. What character ? Like Megane, Laguna provides good practicality and refinement in a bargain price.
