Infiniti Q45

I like prefer the first generation Q45 than this one, because 1) it is as beautiful and as aggressive as a Jaguar while the second generation has gone back to the conservative styling which used to be seen on Cedric. 2) it has more power and performance from its 4.5 litres V8, because the current generation decrease to 4.1 litres.

With little doubt, Nissan must has found that the original Q45 cannot compete with BMW 7 series and Jaguar XJ6 in terms of sportiness, therefore it transform the car into a leaner, softer and less costly model, which can compete with Lexus LS400, Lincoln Continental and Cadillac Seville to eat the US market. Since the European market is relatively smaller, the draw back is negligible.

However, I would choose a Lexus LS400 instead. If the Lexus is even more refined, more comfortable to look at ( what a shame Nissan did not keep Q45's original shape ! ) and similarly priced, the answer is clear.
